Original Voice Memo
A lot of my songs start out as a simple iPhone voice memo like this. At this stage in writing I’ve probably been working on the song for anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour – getting down enough structure and lyrics to take a pass at an early recording before I forget everything. This was recorded on Jan 4, 2019 and you’ll hear some changes I’ve made since.
Well, there’s no going backwards, just forwards friends. Even if we’re heading somewhere I’d rather not visit ever again. Tomorrow’s destination is the toughest one for me on the whole album. I’m glad I’m not going alone.
